Hydrogenated Castor Oil also known as castor wax. Castor oil is derived from castor beans, the refined castor oil is then hydrogenated. Hydrogenated Castor Oil is a solid at room temperature and is insoluble in water. It is used as a bio-based polyol in the polyurethane industry, as a lubricant, a precursor to many industrial chemicals, and used in cosmetics.
