Talc is a soft, lamellar inert mineral, which occurs typically as magnesium silicate. The Talc grades exhibit good purity and chemical stability. These properties typically render the Talc B grades an ideal carrier and functional extender in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. Further applications include high performance paints and coatings, thermoplastic polymers, waxes, and slip agents.
